Besan Ladoo



Ingredients
Besan: 1 cup
Sugar: 1/2 cup
Ghee: 1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons (divided)
Cardomom powder: 1/4 tsp
Sliced Almonds: Few
The above quantity yields 7 medium sized laddus


Procedure:
Step1:
Melt 1/4 cup of ghee in a heavy pan and add besan and roast it in a low flame.
Continue roasting until a nice aroma comes out(The color will also change slightly). This will take somewhere around 8 - 10 minutes.

Step2:
Add sugar and cardomom powder and mix well


Step3:
Finally add 2 tablespoons of ghee and switch off the stove

Step4:
Once the mixture cools down (warm), shape them into laddus.Garnish with sliced almonds.
Allow it to cool completely and store in air tight container.This laddu has a good shelf life
