VEGAN/EGGLESS CHOCOLATE CAKE

This is one of the best Eggless Chocolate Cake recipe that happens to be Vegan as well. Initially I was bit skeptical about this recipe as it calls for Vinegar. So far I have heard about the school science projects that uses vinegar and baking soda to make volcanoes. I never dared to use that to bake a cake. But believe me nobody will be able to sense out the smell of Vinegar. The cake is really very soft and moist.
We can put together this cake with simple ingredients.I really cannot count how many times I would have baked this cake. Each time it turns out to be perfect.I never had an opportunity to click the cake as my kids used to dig on this even before it gets cooled.

This cake contains less sweet. So it tastes best only when frosting is used. Or simply pour some chocolate or Caramel syrup/ganache before serving

Ingredients:
All Purpose Flour: 1.5 cups
Sugar: 1 cup
Cocoa powder: 3 tablespoon
Salt: 1/4 tsp
Baking soda: 1 tsp
Oil: 5 tablespoon
Distilled white Vinegar: 1 tablespoon
Vanilla Extract: 1 tsp
Water: 1 cup

Procedure:
1) Sift together All purpose flour,Baking soda and salt together in a large mixing bowl
2) Add sugar and mix well
3) In another bowl mix all the wet ingredients (Water, Oil, vanilla extract and Vinegar)
4) Pour the wet ingredient over the dry ingredients and beat well until there are no lumps
5) Pour the batter in a 9" round/square pan
6) Bake in a preheated oven of 350F (or 175C) for about 30 - 35 minutes. (or until the tooth pick inserted in the center comes out clean)
7) Allow the cake to cool completely and frost the cake or simply to it with powdered sugar using a sieve

Step by Step pictures
Sift together All purpose flour,Baking soda and salt together

Add sugar and mix well.

Pour the wet ingredient over the dry ingredients and beat well until there are no lumps

Pour the batter in a 9" round/square pan and bake at 350F for 30 - 35 min

Notes:
1) Mix the batter very well without lumps (I tend to see more lumps in this batter than the other cake batters)
2) Do not bake the cake more than 35 minutes.Keep an eye from 30 minutes It easily gets very crumbly even if it is slightly over baked for a minute.
3) As mentioned earlier this cake should be served with a sweet topping.
